The 1620 Wine Bar is all about the arts. Not only is each drink a mini masterpiece but the wine bar itself is a beautifully decorated space for customers to feel cozy while sipping a glass of wine. To keep the artistic flare lit, Raquel and Bob scheduled the wine bar to have live music every Wednesday through Sunday. Starting with Nick Biagini, a 4 piece jazz band and ending with a concert pianist on Sunday by Jamie Conway.

This August’s entertainment introduces a quartet of college students studying jazz. The group has been together for a year now and have played at multiple restaurants on the South Shore. They consist of a saxophonist/composer (Nick Biagini), guitarist (Sean Britt), drummer (James McCarthy), and bassist (Jack Griffen). The compositions are written by the musicians themselves which exhibits their deep intellect and heart for the genre. Overall, they have played at countless festivals, won various awards and scholarships, and have studied with celebrated musicians and teachers in their field. They continue to remain local, playing smooth jazz for listeners as they enjoy a night out on the town. You will definitely not want to miss these four, but if you want something a little less jazzy the 1620 Wine Bar has a long list of future bands planning to play this coming fall season.
