For Events from 25 to 200, The 1620 Winery & 1620 Wine Bar Has the Perfect Space for You
We are pleased to be able to offer our guests their choice of two venues to host their private events big or small. Our large 1620 Winery at Cordage Park can easily accommodate large celebrations of 200+, while our smaller 1620 Wine Bar on the waterfront (with bar, tasting room and patio all available for rent) provides an ideal setting for smaller to mid-size gatherings. Whatever you’ve got planned, we’ve got the space that’s perfect for you.
Engagement Parties
Celebrate the official start of “the season of you two” with an unforgettable engagement party here at The 1620 Winery. Our gorgeous Barrel Room can accommodate up to 100 guests. You can choose to offer cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres, stationed buffet or a full sit down dining experience with a custom menu created by our Executive Chef.
Wedding Showers
The 1620 Winery’s Barrel Room is the ideal rustic & elegant setting for Wedding Showers of any size. The large, flexible space, with soft seating options, and on-site bar creates a seamless transition from socializing, drinking and dining to opening gifts where everyone has a view of the action. Choose from a variety of brunch menu options and bar services. Add a few fancy upgrades if you feel inspired.
Rehearsal Dinners
Rehearsal Dinners are a specialty for The 1620 Winery. Gather your family, closest friends and your wedding party for an intimate, private gathering in our rustic and elegant Barrel Room on the eve of your ceremony. Our experienced team will help you plan your menu and cocktail service and take care of every last detail so you can relax, enjoy and savor this special evening.
